Mr. Smith joined CHS Capital in 2008 as a Vice President. Prior to joining CHS Capital, he was employed by TSG Capital Group and J.H. Whitney & Co., both private equity investment firms in Stamford, Connecticut. Mr. Smith holds a B.S. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania as well as a J.D. and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University. He serves on the Board of Directors of Acton Mobile Group, LLC and Royall & Company. Mr. Smith is a licensed attorney in the State of Illinois and a member of the Education Law Committee of the Chicago Bar Association. He also serves on the Board and as Chairman of the Investment Committee at the Namaste Charter School in Chicago.
