CHS’ first investment was in a manufacturer of complex metal stampings, expanded metal and wire forms. We invested in Koller Industries, Inc. in August 1989 and in aggregate have completed investments in 32 Infrastructure & Industrial Products companies. We have developed expertise in a number of niche areas including paper and packaging, building products, OEM components, engineered materials and building products.

We target growing industries with high barriers to entry, especially from foreign-based competition, and companies with low-cost producer status, proprietary products and consistent operating cash flow. We look for management teams with depth and maturity who have relevant experience leading companies through a variety of economic cycles.
