Since our founding in 1988, CHS Capital™ has completed 64 distribution acquisitions, including 14 platforms investments and 50 add-on acquisitions across a variety of industries including packing supplies, building materials and industrial products. We have experience investing in both traditional branch-based distribution models as well as catalog-driven distribution models. CHS has established a strong reputation investing in distribution businesses based on our ability to understand the dynamics and nuances that make distribution companies unique. Through an organized approach, we utilize our vast network of advisors, management teams and outside executives to share best practices and drive value creation across the CHS distribution portfolio. Our ability to apply our specialized knowledge of distribution companies and our value-added approach to managing investments has allowed us to deliver strong results. With each subsequent CHS fund investing a greater percentage of its total capital in distribution transactions, CHS is committed to the distribution space.

We are interested in pursuing investments in all industry segments, however we have particular interest in companies that distribute products in the following categories: aftermarket transportation parts; automation and controls; building materials; electrical; flow control; heating ventilation and air conditioning; industrial parts and supplies; industrial PVF; infrastructure; janitorial and sanitary supplies; laboratory and scientific supplies; MRO; and veterinary. In special circumstances, we will consider investments in logistics companies with characteristics similar to traditional distribution. CHS Capital is a proven partner for growing distribution companies.
