consider investments across a broad spectrum but we focus
on business sectors where we have extensive knowledge. We
also research new focus areas continuously.
We look for companies operating in industries
where end-use demand is growing. We scout for talented, committed
management teams who want to invest in plans to grow their
businesses. We target companies with sustainable competitive
advantages and multiple opportunities to increase sales and
earnings, both internally and through add-on acquisitions.
Finally, we require potential investments to have systems
and controls in place that will allow performance to be evaluated
against detailed business plans.
